March 2025
Cazander has been commissioned by FrieslandCampina Consumer Products BV in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, to remove a can making line for small sweetened condensed dairy blend (78-gram) can bodies.
This production line was located on the third floor of the factory, and the machines were removed partly via a lift and partly outside using a crane. All of this had to be conducted within a production area where work continued on other production lines.
Naturally, the safety regulations at this one of the largest dairy companies in the world are extremely strict. We were able to dismantle the entire production line, consisting of approximately 10 machines and interconnecting conveyor belts, within two weeks and arrange for transportation to our storage facilities in Middelharnis. All machines were professionally marked for disassembly and electronically disconnected prior to this process.
The Cazander team consisted of a total of 5 individuals, assisted by 2 employees from FrieslandCampina.
